Primary Schools, High Schools, Academies, Colleges and Universities have all benefited greatly from the use of this cost effective, simple technology and the majority of these projects will be seeing a payback in a relatively short time period.
Most of the building types within this sector will lend themselves very well to the use of Rainwater Harvesting – large building footprints will allow the collection of substantial quantities of rainwater from the roof of the building. Couple the potential collection volume of Rainwater with the substantial requirement for toilet flushing water within these buildings and you can start to see the opportunity for many buildings in this sector to be almost self-sufficient by producing as much rainwater as will be required for flushing.
